Now China has become a major diamond producer and is gradually moving towards a powerful country. With the development of large press in previous years, the output of diamond was too much and the price fell.

In the future, China's superhard material industry should focus on developing diamond products. Only the great development of products and tools can bring good economic benefits. We should develop products with high-tech content, do not repeat high-tech products, avoid low-level competition, and profoundly learn the lesson that vicious competition in diamond price war harms others and ourselves.
  
1、 Enterprises should continue independent innovation and promote product upgrading  

Innovation is the soul of national progress and the driving force for the prosperity of enterprises. Relying on technological innovation, product innovation and management innovation, there is no way out for enterprises without innovation. For example, the diamond powder catalyst relies on technological innovation, continuous improvement of production process and improvement of product quality. Our industry has also applied for famous brand products, such as diamond. We have applied for "Qiyi brand" and "Pinfeng brand".  

To create a brand, we must maintain the brand. Product quality is the key, and the product must be stable before it can have credibility. In the 1970s, the development of abrasive tools represented by diamond grinding wheels led to the first climax of diamond production; In the 1980s, the development of drilling tools represented by diamond drill bits led to the second climax of the development of diamond production; In the 1990s, due to the revival of the stone industry, the development of diamond saw blades led to the third climax of diamond production; The fourth climax of diamond development in the 20th century has not yet appeared. According to analysis, it is possible that the development of diamond tools will promote the industry to a deeper level.  

Generally speaking, the products have few varieties, low scientific and technological content and poor packaging.  

1. There are few varieties. There are thousands of foreign products (1500 in Russia) and only a few hundred in China.  

2. The scientific and technological content is not high. For example, the diameter of the composite sheet can be 120mm in foreign countries, but only 40mm in China. For example, drill bits: there are many common drill bits used in mines, most of which are made of hard alloy materials, and some enterprises produce diamond drill bits. However, polycrystalline, composite chip drill bits and thin-wall engineering drill bits are few. These products have high scientific and technological content, great difficulty and good business efficiency. At present, ordinary drill bits used in mines sell well.

3. Few tools are used for processing functional materials. The cutters used for cutting semiconductors (monocrystalline silicon) are imported, and the 600-700 composite chips cost tens of millions of dollars each year. Most of these monocrystalline silicon production lines are produced in China, including Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.  

The 21st century is a period of great development of China's superhard material industry. We should seize the opportunity to accelerate development, especially in the field of products, increase scientific and technological investment and development, develop more and better products, and make contributions to China's superhard material industry.
